StarNet Workshop In-Person

Free hands-on, space science-themed workshop will provide activities, content, and NASA resources to prepare public library staff to facilitate NASA science-focused learning experiences for underserved audiences. Workshop content can be used in support of the Collaborative Summer Learning Program (CSLP) 2019 summer learning theme: “A Universe of Stories." Workshop will begin on April 30 at 1pm at Sparks Library, with a Night Sky Viewing that evening (weather permitting) and will conclude at 3pm on May 1. Attendance is limited to 25. Registration deadline is March 15.

The workshop will include lunch and snacks; participants will receive reimbursement at GSA rates for lodging (for those needing it)), travel and per diem (for meals not provided). Participants must submit an LSTA CE microgrant application by March 29, 2019 in order to be reimbursed.
