Braille Institute’s Reading Room Sessions: Summer Reading Program Week 2: Why Reading Matters Author Panel

Registration is now open for the Braille Institute’s Reading Room Sessions: Author Talks and Book Chats.

All patrons are invited to join the Braille Institute’s weekly conversations, author discussions, and book groups. All books are available through the talking book program, either from us or through BARD.

The second author talk is Thursday, June 19 at 10 a.m. pacific. The featured Author Panel: Join Raymond Mar, Susan Orlean, Lynn Thomas, and Catherynn M. Valente for a dialogue on the cognitive and emotional importance of reading. With the Book Group discussion the following day, Friday, June 20, 10 a.m. pacific, for The Library Book by Susan Orlean (DB092869).
